7 Best AI Budgeting Apps in 2026

Image
Most of us don't have a spending problem — we have a leaking problem. Forgotten subscriptions, free trials that quietly converted, bills creeping up every year. AI budgeting apps fix this by watching your accounts around the clock and telling you what to cut, save, and fix. Here are the seven worth your money in 2026, with real prices checked this October. Rocket Money — the subscription hunter Rocket Money scans your transactions, finds every recurring charge, and cancels the ones you don't use — on Premium it does the cancelling for you, and it can negotiate phone, internet, and cable bills. Pricing: a real free tier with subscription detection; Premium is pay-what-you-think-is-fair, typically $7–$14 a month (you pick); Premium+ is $15 a month and includes Rowan, an AI assistant you text, plus no bill-negotiation fee. Bill negotiation costs 35–60% of the first year's savings on Free/Premium. Best for: killing forgotten subscriptions. Monarch Money — the complete dashboard...

Anthropic's Q3 Just Proved AI Is a Real Business — $16.8B Revenue and a $2T IPO in Sight

Anthropic's Q3: $16.8B and rising — revenue results and IPO plans clickbait poster illustration with on-image titleAnthropic logoThe AI race has a new scoreboard, and Anthropic just posted a quarter that will be hard to top.

The company shared its third-quarter 2026 numbers with prospective investors at its San Francisco headquarters on Wednesday, and they're staggering: $16.8 billion in revenue, up 45% from the previous quarter. Even more notable — Anthropic also reported an adjusted profit this time around, a milestone that shifts the story from "growing fast" to "making real money."

The trajectory is worth a second look. Revenue climbed from $4.7 billion in Q1 to $11.6 billion in Q2, and now to $16.8 billion. Analysts who met with executives this week estimate the annual run rate could hit $110 billion by the end of 2026.

All of this is fuel for the main event: an initial public offering. Anthropic is targeting a valuation north of $2 trillion, according to reports, and its market debut is expected to come before rival OpenAI's — though the listing could slip past the November US midterm elections.

There's a spending story behind the numbers too. Anthropic has committed at least $518 billion over the next decade to cloud services, computing and infrastructure — the chips-and-data-centers bill that defines this era of AI. Last year revenue grew twelvefold to nearly $4.6 billion, but the company still recorded an operating loss north of $8 billion. The Q3 profit figure is what investors needed to see to believe the math can work.

One detail stood out from the investor meeting: CEO Dario Amodei reiterated the company's focus on AI safety but, according to an attendee, did not discuss threats of human extinction — a contrast with the company's own prospectus, which warns that advanced AI could pose "catastrophic or existential risks to humanity."

Founded by former OpenAI executives and backed by Google and Amazon — which are investors, computing providers, distribution partners and competitors all at once — Anthropic has become the company to watch in the business end of AI.

The takeaway: the AI boom isn't just hype anymore. At least for Anthropic, it's a real, profitable, hundred-billion-dollar business — and a $2 trillion IPO would make it one of the biggest listings in history.
