Type a sentence, get a full song with vocals. That's the promise of Suno and Udio, the two biggest names in AI music. Both feel magical at first — until you hit the fine print. One hands you studio-quality songs you can actually use. The other makes incredible music but won't let you take your songs home. Here's the honest breakdown. The pricing, side by side Suno runs on credits. The free plan gives you 50 credits a day — roughly 10 songs daily, free forever, but personal use only. OpenAI Teams Up With Synopsys to Build GPT-Synopsys, an AI Chip Designer

Image
OpenAI isn't just building AI models anymore — it's going after the hardware layer. On September 30, 2026, chip-design software giant Synopsys announced a revenue-sharing deal with OpenAI to develop “GPT-Synopsys,” an AI model trained specifically for chip design. What GPT-Synopsys will actually do GPT-Synopsys will be trained and tuned for the nitty-gritty of chip-design tasks — everything from circuit descriptions written in a code-like language, to figuring out how to lay out billions of transistors on a tiny square of silicon. The model will also learn to operate Synopsys's own software tools, helping engineers work through the trade-offs and optimizations that define modern chip design. As OpenAI co-founder Greg Brockman put it in the announcement video, the goal is “to be able to shave off weeks, months from the design process and to bring more chips to the world.” The money behind the deal The commercial terms are worth a closer look....
